One day tour of Pateshwar Cave, Temples of Parali :-
Ospicious month Shravan is arrived and it's time to have holy yatra of temples for blessings of Bhagwan Shiv.
On 3 August 2025 we are planning to visit Pateshwar cave and shiv temples of Parali village which are close to Satara city.
Pateshwar caves and temple is situated on small hill near Satara. Here one can find so many types of Shivling. We are going to explore and get details of these shivling.
Sajjangad is crowded fort with pilgrims and tourist, but hardly anybody visits temples of Parali village located at base. We are going to visit and go through details study of them.
This tour is planned from Pune- Satara- Pune and sake of convince for the participants joining outside Pune, we are going to start late morning and will return on same day evening.
Fees for this trip is 1700/- ( One thousand seven hundred only ) this fees includes travel by non A/C bus, breakfast, lunch, evening tea. For group of four participants discount of 200/- will be offered.

पाटेश्वर , परळी मंदीरे एक दिवसीय सहल :-

अखंड हिंदुस्थानची प्रेरणा असलेल्या छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या आयुष्यातील एक थरारक आणि प्राणाची बाजी लावली गेलेली घटना म्हणजे आदिलशाही सरदार सिद्दी जौहरच्या वेढ्यातून आषाढ पौर्णिमेला ( १२, १३ जुलै १६६०) ला करुन घेतलेली सुटका. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या आयुष्यात स्वराज्य स्थापनेची संकल्पपुर्ती करताना अनेक जीवावरचे प्रसंग आले, त्यात हा पन्हाळगडावरुन सुटकेचा प्रसंग आहे. विशेष म्हणजे चारशे वर्षानंतरसुध्दा आपण त्या प्रसंगाची अनुभुती घेउ शकतो. त्याचाच एक भाग म्हणजे पन्हाळा ते पावनखिंड एतिहासिक पदभ्रमंती मोहीम !

खरतर शालेय जीवनात प्रत्येकजण अनेक सहलींमध्ये सामील होत असते. त्या आठवणी आयुष्यभर पुरणार्या आणि सुखावणार्या असतात. बहुतेक वेळा या सहली थंड हवेची ठिकाणे, वॉटर पार्क, मंदीरे, एखादे दुरचे शहर अश्या ठिकाणीच आयोजित केल्या जातात. त्यात अर्थातच सहभागी विद्यार्थ्यांची सुरक्षा महत्वाची असते. मात्र जनकल्याण प्रतिष्ठान संचलित, सरस्वती विद्यालय, कराड यांनी अनोखा उपक्रम राबवत पन्हाळा ते पावनखिंड अश्या मोहीमेचे इयत्ता नववीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी आयोजन केले. कधी पठारावरुन जाणारी, कधी शेताच्या बांधावरुन जाणारी तर कधी दाट झाडीतून मार्ग काढणारी खडतर वाट, सातत्याने असणारा पावसाचा मारा, साप, जळवा यांची आव्हाने, वाटेत कोणत्याही प्रकारच्या आधुनिक सुखसुविधांचा अभाव अशी सर्व आव्हाने असताना साय-फाय युगातील विद्यार्थ्यांना ती पेलवतील का ? अशी शंका मनात घेउन आमची चर्चा सुरु होती. अश्या खडतर मोहीमेसाठी आपल्या पाल्यांना पाठवण्यासाठी किती पालक उत्सुक असतील अशी शंका मनात सातत्याने येत होती. पण सरस्वती विद्यालयातील पालकांचे मनापासून कौतुक त्यांनी उत्स्फुर्त प्रतिसाद दिल्यामुळे दोन बस या मोहीमेसाठी बुक कराव्या लागल्या. इतक्या उत्तम प्रतिसादानंतर मोहीम यशस्वी होणारच याबद्दल मनामध्ये कोणतीही शंका राहीली नाही. मोहीमेचे खडतर आव्हान लक्षात घेउन बारीक सारीक मुद्दे विचारात घेउन नियोजन केले, अगदी प्रत्येकाला मोहीमेचा मार्गाचा नकाशा मिळेल, याची काळजी घेतली.

अश्या अवघड मोहीमा यशस्वीरित्या पुर्ण करण्यासाठी अनेकांचे सहकार्याचे हात लागणे आवश्यक असते तरच हा गोवर्धन उचलता येतो. यासाठी शाळेच्या मुख्याध्यापिका सोनाली जोशी, समन्वयक श्री. विजय कुलकर्णी व स्वाती जाधव यांनी मोलाचा सहभाग दिला. संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष, सचिव आणि संचालक मंडळाने अश्या अभिनव पण अवघड मोहीमेला परवानगी देउन नव्या संकल्पनेच्या स्वागत करण्याचा दृष्टीकोण दाखवला. पालकांनी कोणतीही शंका मनात न बाळगता शाळा व्यवस्थापनावर विश्वास ठेवून आपल्या पाल्यांना यात सहभागी होण्याची प्रेरणा दिली, तर सर्वात महत्वाचे म्हणजे सहभागी विद्यार्थ्यांनी संपुर्ण दोन दिवस या उपक्रमाला वाहून घेउन शिवचरित्रातील एक थरार प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवला, याबद्दल या सर्वांचे आभार न मानता मी ऋणी राहीन.

पन्हाळगड ते पावनखिंड अभ्यास मोहीम ( २१,२२ जुन २०२५) :-
पावसाळा सुरु झाला कि बहुतेक शिवप्रेमींना वेध लागतात ते पन्हाळगड, पावनखिंड मोहीमेचे ! मात्र जुलै महिन्यातील संभाव्य गर्दी लक्षात घेउन आपण शनिवार, रविवार २१, २२ जुन २०२५ या दोन दिवसात पन्हाळा, पावनखिंड अभ्यास मोहीम आयोजित केली आहे. हि फक्त भटकंती, ट्रेक असणार नाही तर अभ्यास मोहीम असेल, ज्यात आपण शिवचरित्रातील या प्रसंगाची अस्सल पुराव्यानिशी अभ्यासपुर्ण माहिती घेणार आहोत.
या मोहीमेत आपण पन्हाळगडाचा सविस्तर इतिहास आणि गडाच्या विवीध अंगाची माहिती, शिवाजी महाराज ज्या मार्गाने विशाळगडाला गेले त्या रस्त्याने प्रवास, सध्या दाखवली जाणार्या तथाकथित पावनखिंडीचे वास्तव आणि खर्या पावनखिंडाची स्थाननिश्चीती हे सर्व समजून घ्यायचे आहे.
या मोहीमेत इतिहासाचा अभ्यास हा उद्देश असल्यामुळे फार चालायचे असणार नाही. फक्त मसाई पठार ते खोतवाडी इतकेच चालणे अपेक्षित आहे. ते ही शक्य नसेल त्यांना गाडीतून प्रवास करता येईल.
या अभ्यास मोहीमेचा एकुण खर्च २९०० /- ( दोन हजार नउशे रुपये फक्त रुपये फक्त ). या खर्चात पुणे- पन्हाळा-पुणे हा नॉन ए.सी. गाडीतून प्रवास खर्च शनिवार सकाळचा नाष्टा, दुपारचे आणि रात्रीचे जेवण, रविवारचा सकाळचा नाष्टा ,दुपारचे जेवण या खर्चाचा समावेश आहे.महिलांना मुक्कामासाठी स्पेशल रुम.
शुक्रवारी रात्री १२ वाजता पुण्यातून निघून रविवारी संध्याकाळी पुण्याला परत येणे अपेक्षित आहे.
या मोहीमेत थेट पन्हाळ्यावर सामिल होउ इच्छीतात त्यांच्यासाठी अभ्यास शुल्क - १२००/- ( बाराशे रुपये फक्त ) असेल.
रविवार ८ जुनला बुकिंग केले तर २००/- डिस्काउंट, तर तीन जणांच्या ग्रुपसाठी १५०/- , पाच जणांच्या ग्रुपसाठी ३००/- आणि आठ जणांच्या ग्रुपसाठी ४००/- डिस्काउंट दिला जाईल.

मावळ प्रदेशाचा एक प्राचीन रखलवालदार म्हणजे दुर्ग तिकोणा ! एखाद्या त्रिकोणी पिरॅमिडच्या आकाराचा हा निसर्गाचाअविष्कार . या गडाचा इतिहास, इथली दुर्गवैशिष्ट्ये आपण समजावून घेणार आहोत.
याच बरोबर प्राचीन अश्या बेडसे या बौध्द लेण्यांना भेट देउन आपण इथल्या चैत्यगृहाची वैशिष्ट्ये, शिलालेख, विहारांची वेगळी रचना आणि लेण्यांची निर्मिती हे सर्व माहिती करुन घ्यायचे आहे.

पावसाळा सुरु झाला कि बहुतेक शिवप्रेमींना वेध लागतात ते पन्हाळगड,
पावनखिंड मोहीमेचे ! मात्र जुलै महिन्यातील संभाव्य गर्दी लक्षात घेउन आपण
शनिवार, रविवार २१, २२ जुन २०२५ या दोन दिवसात पन्हाळा, पावनखिंड अभ्यास
मोहीम आयोजित केली आहे. हि फक्त भटकंती, ट्रेक असणार नाही तर अभ्यास मोहीम
असेल, ज्यात आपण शिवचरित्रातील या प्रसंगाची अस्सल पुराव्यानिशी
अभ्यासपुर्ण माहिती घेणार आहोत.
या मोहीमेत आपण पन्हाळगडाचा सविस्तर इतिहास आणि गडाच्या विवीध अंगाची
माहिती, शिवाजी महाराज ज्या मार्गाने विशाळगडाला गेले त्या रस्त्याने
प्रवास, सध्या दाखवली जाणार्या तथाकथित पावनखिंडीचे वास्तव आणि खर्या
पावनखिंडाची स्थाननिश्चीती हे सर्व समजून घ्यायचे आहे.
या मोहीमेत इतिहासाचा अभ्यास हा उद्देश असल्यामुळे फार चालायचे असणार
नाही. फक्त मसाई पठार ते खोतवाडी इतकेच चालणे अपेक्षित आहे. ते ही शक्य
नसेल त्यांना गाडीतून प्रवास करता येईल.

Day 0: Departure from Mumbai & Pune
Participants from Mumbai should catch the Deccan Queen or Pragati Express and alight at Chhatrapati Shivajinagar Railway Station in Pune. They will join the Pune group, and together we will travel in a private bus.
9:00 PM: Our journey begins in a private bus from Pune. Pickup points include:

Swargate
Katraj
Day 2: Karpewadi to Pawankhind
5:00 AM: Arrive at Panhala Fort. Freshen up and prepare for the trek.
6:00 AM: Have breakfast and attend a briefing session about the day’s trek.
7:00 AM: Briefly explore Panhala Fort before starting the descent towards Pawankhind.
10:00 - 11:00 AM: Reach Masai Pathar, a plain plateau. Visit Masai Devi Temple along the way and continue trekking. Masai Pathar is renowned for its blooming wildflowers.
12:00 PM: Pause for lunch in a village or find shade to eat. Lunch will either be packed or provided by a village home. Rest for a while.
1:30 PM: Resume the trek towards our base village, crossing numerous rice paddies and water streams.
4:00 PM: Arrive at Karpewadi (Ambarde), our base village for the night halt.
5:00 - 6:00 PM: Enjoy some tea, change clothes, and rest. Accommodation will be arranged in local homes or tents, depending on availability.
8:00 PM: Dinner is served. Retire for the day.
Day 2: Karpewadi to Pawankhind
5:00 AM: Wake-up call to get ready for the day's trek.
6:00 AM: After breakfast, continue the trek towards Pawankhind (approximately 24 km). For those opting out of the trek, transportation to Pawankhind will be arranged from the base village.
9:00 AM: The bus will depart Karpewadi for Pawankhind for those not trekking.
2:00 PM: Arrive at Pawankhind. Take blessings and explore the historical pass.
3:00 PM: Lunch is served.
5:00 PM: Begin the return journey to Pune by bus. Mumbai participants will be dropped off at Kolhapur Railway Station to catch the Mahalaxmi Express to Mumbai at 8:00 PM.
11:00 PM: Reach Pune.
6:00 AM: Arrive in Mumbai, marking the end of this beautiful trip.

Tikona fort and Bedse Cave :-
Tikona Fort located near Kamshet, is one of the easiest treks in Maharashtra. The route is very safe and wide. Tikona fort gets its name from the pyramid/ triangular shape of the fort. It is also known as Vitandgad .

निघून आपण मुळशीला जाणार आहोत. मुळशीच्या धरणाच्या पाण्याने तिन्ही बाजूने
वेढलेल्या कैलासगडाला भेट देउन इथला इतिहास समजुन तसेच व्हॅली ऑफ

the Koyna river backwaters to reach Indavli. We'll be trekking through
dense forest to reach Vasota fort as it is covered with dense forest. We
would reach the peak by roughly 1. pm.Then we will begin exploring
historic architecture of Vasota fort. Here we shall have a brief session
about history of Vasota fort and its significance in battles fought .
After having packed lunch at the peak of Vasota fort we will commence
descending back to base by 3.30pm and reach down around take a boat ride
crossing backwaters of Koyna river.
The members who do not want to attend Vasota trek, have alternate
plan. The peaceful boat ride takes you to the island Meth-Indavali ,
Triveni Sangam, Vasota fort view, spectacular shots. situated in the
laps of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary,

We are happily announcing one day study tor to Junglee Jaigad fort on 27 April 2025
Junglee
Jaigad is a lesser-known fort located in the dense forests of the Koyna
Wildlife Sanctuary in Maharashtra. It is a hidden gem for trekkers who
love offbeat trails, historical sites, and untouched nature.
We
will start by privete Non A/C bus from Pune on mid night of 26 April.
After reaching to Koyna Nagar , breakfast and permission from forest
department , we will explore dense forest of Junglee Jaigad, Kokankada
and Ramban point, after having lunch we will start our return journey.
Trek fees from Pune will be 1800 /- ( One thousand eight hundred rupees only ).
If someone want to attend trek directly from Koyna Nagar, then trek fees will be 1000/-( One thousand rupees only )
Trek
is through dense forest and is of easy level , so any fit person can
attend it. As Junglee Jaigad is very rarely visited fort, grab this
opportunity to visit it, in this summer.
